You’ll find a couple of little films here with most of them being holiday memories captured with GoPro’s. All of them are rather old by now. I just recently started editing my footage I brought home from the Fiji Islands and I am currently working on a documentary on sharks and my shark research, which I hope to finish in 2017.
AUSTRALIA (2015) – My first short movie filmed with a DSLR and a hommage to Australia’s wildlife.
GERMANY (2014) – This is a short experimental movie I made in 2014 with a couple of scenes I shot in Northern Germany. Check out this article for more technical background information.
EGYPT (2014) – Our oceans are facing threats from many sides. Pollution, overfishing and the acidiation of the water are among the most serious one. During my six months in Dahab I was able to dive almost daily and admire the beauty and majesty of the underwater world. Once you sink beneath the surface, you enter a complete different world full of color, life and biodiversity. But: our oceans need our help. Let’s all start with ourselves and change what we can (not buying fish, not using plastic products where possible, not littering in the environment).
EGYPT (2014) – A short film about Bannerfish Bay (the house reef of many dive centers in Masbat bay) I created for Sinai Divers Backpackers in Dahab. The footage was shot on two dives in January 2014 using a GoPro 3, a red filter and in some scenes a SOLA 800 dive light.
